Version 0.9 Major Update!!!


0.9 Is the game's first big update, including a new character, survival mode, major changes to the way bursts work, and a lot of other small changes.

Here are the patch notes :)

0.9 Update

[New Features]

-New playable character "Rain"

-New Assist "Rain"

-New Stage "Garden of Souls"

-New option in training mode that resets player positions.

[Bug fixes]

-Fixed a bug that made all the direction buttons the same as the cancel or confirm buttons when rebinding player 2's controls

-Fixed a typo on the control rebind screen.(A+B+C is now B+C)

-Fixed a bug that caused the direction of projectile knockback to be equal to the player's direction, not the projectile's direction.

-Projectiles now are reflected in water, and have shadows.

-Projectiles now show their hitboxes in training mode when hitboxes are turned on.

-Fixed a bug that caused Setsuna's j.236x to move the opponent into the air on block.

-Fixed a bug that caused the red health to decrease in the wallstick state.

-Fixed a rare bug that caused projectile hits to count as a hit even if the attack that spawned the projectile had ended, and only if the current attack was an ultra.

-Optimized code to be more efficient + increase performance


[Balance Changes]

-Gave Clay a new special move, j.236x

-Made April's 236x available in the air also

-Gave Hawke 4A, and 4B command normals.

-Apollo now delays his return after attacks.

-Hawke's 22x is no longer an overhead.

-Hawke now has an "A" followup for his 22x.

-Hawke's 214x is replaced with a projectile attack.

-Hawke's 6C is replaced with an attack that teleports Apollo.

-Increased the range and damage on Apollo's 22x command grab

-Decreased Damage for V's 236x>B>B Rekka chain, and his j.2C

-Slightly Increased Damage for Robin's j.B, 2A, and 2B

-Decreased the hitstun on Mona's 236A, j.A, j.B, and j.C

-Mona's Assist is no longer a low.

-Increased the horizontal speed for Mona's 236A

-Increased the damage for Mona's 214x command grabs, and her ultra.

-Decreased Vertical height gained after Setsuna's j.214x, and vertical speed stop starts at frame 4 instead of frame 0.

-Increased hitstun on Crow's 5A.

-Burst now resets wallsticks.

-Defensive and offensive bursts now have different knockback values

-All "Dead Angle" attacks are now unblockable.

-Assists now have different cooldowns based on how strong the assist is.

-Added a small amount of hitstop on guard.

-Supers and Ultras now pause the timer.

-Changed the hitstun decay to be more harsh on the ground.

-Defensive bursts are now indicated with a blue version of the burst effect.

-You can no longer cancel out of defensive burst.

-Bursts can now only recover on the ground.

-Defensive Bursts now move you upwards slightly, if done close to, or on the ground

-Defensive Bursts do not cause wallstick on hit.

-The AI for Cpu controlled opponents is now smarter.

-Attacks now scale more harshly on grounded opponents if they have already been used in the combo.

-Increased the minimum percentage of damage attacks can do.
