Version 0.9.5 Combo Trial Update!!!


The next update is now available!!! It includes a substantial new game mode, Combo Trials! Each character has 10 combo trials, 5 for the default fighting style, and 5 for the "Power" fighting style. As well, there is a new stage available, and many balance changes, as usual.

Patch notes 0.9.5 Combo Challenge Update

[New Features]

-New Stage: "Junkyard"

-New game mode: Combo Trials

-The Button icons are now updated correctly for when the button view is set to PS or Xbox and the buttons are rebinded from the defaults.

-Defensive Burst now heals a small percentage of red health.

-Supers and Ultras can now hit otg in power style (low attacks only)

-Dash can be buffered a tiny bit, to make linking dashes after actions easier.

-Updated the character select screen.

[Bug Fixes]

-Fixed a bug that caused sparrow's soul cancel to take priority over overdrive activation.

-Fixed a bug that caused a crash while initializing Hawke's ai.

-Fixed a bug that caused a crash when using some of V's special moves

-Fixed a bug that caused the time the last input was held for to not increment properly.

-Fixed a bug that caused true combos to cause the counter to turn blue if the other player was on a certain frame of the knockdown animation that couldn't have been air recovered on, but hitstun had ended.

-Fixed a bug that caused armor to apply to the stun state, if stunned during the frames of an attack that had armor.

-Fixed a bug that caused Apollo's hitboxes to last longer than they should have if attack's traded.

-Fixed a bug that caused the timer to flicker if the round ended during a super or ultra


[Balance Changes]


{SPARROW}

-Increased the hitbox size of 6B.

-Decreased the horizontal knockback on 6C.

-Decreased horizontal knockback on all versions of 22x

-Increased hitstun on Sparrow's 2C.


{ROBIN}

-Robin can now jump cancel out of 2B.

-Robin's 2B now no longer causes a wallstick.

-Increased Hitstun on Robin's 5C.


{SETSUNA}

-Increased hitstun on setsuna's 2C and 236x.

-Increased damage on setsuna's 214x projectiles.

-Setsuna's 214x projectiles no longer inflict poison.

-Decreased Hitstop on Setsuna's 236x.


{V}

-Updated V's portrait.

-Increased Hitstun on V's 2C.

-Increased Vertical knockback on V's 214x > 5A followup.

-Increased Vertical knockback, and decreased horizontal knockback on V's throw.

-Slightly Increased Vertical knockback on V's 236(A/B) > 5B > 5B followup.

-Decreased damage on all of V's 236x followups.

-Decreased Guardstun on V's 236x.


{ARES}

-Are's 214x can now be teched out of.

-decreased vertical knockback on the last hit of Ares' 214(A/B), and Ares' 28B.

-Decreased Hitstun for Ares/ 5A.

-Increased Hitstun for Ares' 5C.

-Ares' 2B now hits low.

-Decreased horizontal knockback for Ares' 2B, 5B and 5C.


{CLAY}

-Decreased guardstun on Clay's 22x.

-Made Clay's 214x command run auto stop later when running into a wall or after the match ends.

-The enhanced version of Clay's 214x > B followup now has armor frames.


{CROW}

-Increased Hitstun on crow's 2A and 214x.

-Decreased horizontal knockback on Crow's 214x (it is now 0 lol)

-Increased vertical knockback on Crow's 214x

-Crow's 214x can no longer be air recovered afterwards.


{MONA}

-Updated Mona's portrait.

-You can no longer air recover after Mona's 236x.

-Reduced Horizontal Knockback on Mona's 2C and J.B.

-Increased hitstun on Mona's J.A, J.B, 5A and 2A.


{HAWKE}

-Decreased Horizontal knockback on Hawke's J.A, 5B, J.B, 2B, and 4C.

-Increased Hitstun on Hawke's 2A, 5B, 2B, and 2C.

-Hawke's super can now be used in the air.

-Hawke's 2C is now a low.

-Hawke's 236x now causes a wallstick.

-Increased the time before Apollo starts walking to Hawke's position after attacking with Apollo.

-Apollo can no longer move through the opponent during attacks, and the opponent can no longer move through Apollo either during attacks.


{RAIN}

-Rain can now use 214x in the air as well.

-Rain's j.B is now an overhead.

-Increased hitstun on Rain's j.A and j.B.

-Rain's ultra is now a low, not an unblockable, and it does more damage.

-Increased damage on Rain's super.


{BASIL}

-"Heel Slide Brake" is now shown on the command list.

-Basil's super no longer inflicts poison.

-Increased damage for Basil's super.

-reduced horizontal speed on the recovery jump at the end of Basil's j.236x. 


{SECRET CHARACTER}

-Increased startup on [Redacted]'s 5A.

-Decreased horizontal Knockback on [Redacted]'s 6C, J.A, and J.B.


{SYSTEM}

-Made "DP"/623 motions more strict/ won't come out as often when doing 236x after a 6 motion(any 22 motion can also be done with 623).

-Made "Quarter circle"/236/214 motions easier to do after a crouching normals or during combos.

*An "A" jab is a quick standing or crouching A attack.

-All "A" jabs can be cancelled into themselves in default style as well.

-All "A" jabs now have a limit of 3 times they can cancel into themselves.

-All "A" jabs now have increased pushback.

-Decreased the length of airdashes by 4 frames.

-Wallsticks can now be triggered at slightly lower heights.

-You can now hold the dash macro to buffer a dash.

-Defensive bursts now recover 30% of red health.

-The survival mode characters/colors will be more random(hopefully)

-You can no longer be thrown during the startup frames of a jump.

-Vertical knockback now affects air guarding.

-Jumping now takes higher priority over other actions when jumping from idle, walking, crouching, and dashing.

-"A" normals no longer give you meter in power style.

-Decreased the amount of chip damage done in power style.

-Overdrive can now be activated from specials.

-Decreased the damage buff that overdrive gives you.
