Version 0.9.8 Team mode update!!!


Version 0.9.8 adds the third fighting style, Team!

Taking into account fighting style, character, and assist, this boosts the games total amount of combinations to 850!!!!

There are also a large amount of balance changes and bug fixes as usual :)

[NEW FEATURES]

-New Fighting mode, "TEAM"

[BUG FIXES]

-Fixed a bug that caused a crash when Robin reflected a projectile with 214x.

-Fixed a bug that caused all projectiles on screen to be destroyed by Robin's 214x when reflecting a single projectile.

-Fixed a bug that caused clay's j.236x to have the last hitbox to linger on screen longer than it should. 

-Fixed a bug that caused multiple projectiles/traps to not show shadows when more than one projectile/trap was on screen


[BALANCE CHANGES]

{SPARROW}

-Sparrow now has I frames on the startup of his Ultra.

-Increased the height of Sparrow's crouching hurtbox.

-Decreased the hitbox sizes of Sparrow's 236x projectiles. 


{ROBIN}

-Robin's 214x now correctly reflects projectiles.

-Changed the reflection window for robin's 214x.

-Robin can now cancel their 214x after reflecting a projectile.


{MAI}

-Increased damage for all versions of Mai's 236x.

-Mai now has I-frames on the startup of her Ultra.


{SETSUNA}

-Slightly changed the vertical knockback and vertical speed on Setsuna's super, to make it more consistent.


{CLAY}

-Clay now has armor on the startup of his 214x followups.

-Decreased horizontal knockback on clay's j.B, 5B, and 5C.

-Increased hitstun on all versions of Clay's 214x > B.


{APRIL}

-Increased vertical knockback on April's 214C

-Increased horizontal knockback on April's 214C

-All versions of April's 214x are no longer air-recoverable.

-Decreased horizontal knockback on April's 2B..

-Slightly Decreased the hitbox size of April's 236x and j.236A/B projectiles.


{CROW}

-Increased hitstun on Crow's super.

-Decreased horizontal knockback on Crow's super.


{MONA}

-Mona can now jump cancel all versions of 22x.

-Decreased horizontal knockback on Mona's 22x.


{LEAF}

-Leaf's 6A has drastically reduced damage.

-Increased damage on all versions of Leaf's 236x.

-Increased vertical knockback on leaf's 236 A/B.

-Decreased damage on Leaf's 2C > B.

-Increased hitstun on Leaf's 214x.


{UNIT-01}

-Slightly decreased Unit-01's walkspeed.

-Decreased hitstun on Unit-01's 2C and J.C

-Unit-01's 214A is now a mid instead of a low.

-Unit-01's 214A has a taller hitbox now.


{SECRET CHARACTER}

-[REDACTED]'s 5C is no longer an overhead.

-[REDACTED] now has I-frames on the startup of their super.

-[REDACTED]'s j.214x has reduced damage, and vertical knockback for the coin powered up version (the Blue version).

-[REDACTED]'s j.214x is now air recoverable (but has very high hitstun)


{SYSTEM}

-Superjumps/Shorthops have a slightly more leinient input

-Decreased the amount of damage scaling offensive burst removes

-Defensive burst no longer resets damage scaling for the character that bursted

-When defensive burst is successful (hits the opponent) you gain back half of your burst meter.

-Slightly decreased the damage buff for overdrive/power style.

-Overdrive now freezes the timer.

-Added sound effects for the tiebreaker screen

-The CPU will throw escape and parry less often on all difficulties.

-Winning during a time up is now decided based on the percentage of health left, rather than the actual number.

-normal jumping from grounded dashes have a higher height.
